FallšŸšŸ‚

Some trees in the fall lose their leaves and some trees do not. I was curious to figure out why some trees do not lose their leaves so hereā€™s what I found out! Non Deciduous trees close up the little holes where the leavesĀ Ā attach so they donā€™t lose moisture and shrivel up and die. SomeĀ examples of non deciduous trees Pines, cedar and Evergreen trees they have smaller leaves or quills that hold a lot of moisture so they donā€™t fall off the tree but overtime the quills do you lose color. The trees that do shed their leaves are called deciduous meaning Ā a tree that sheds its leaves and becomes dormant in the winter. Ā Some examples of deciduous trees are oak, maple, and birch.
